How We Began

In 2017, Social Justice CALL began its “Read, Study, Resist!” series in New Haven, Connecticut, at BlackPrint Bookstore. Our study was largely in reaction to the current political climate that saw African American citizenship under attack, deep political division in the country, and American democracy at a low point.
